Job Description
We are seeking a skilled English teacher to join our team. As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons and developing the skills of our students.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and experience in teaching English and Literature. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to cultivate a safe and accountable learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Maintain accurate records of student performance
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and improve teaching practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Eligible teacher qualification and registration
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa with relevant work rights
* Ability to display an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and experience in developing and delivering a broad spectrum of English curriculum
* Qualifications and experience in teaching Literature and/or English as an Additional Language or Dialect
