About Us
Go Doors, a member of the Record / ASSA Abloy Group, is one of Western Australia’s leading providers of automatic doors, roller doors, gates, and related solutions. We specialise in supplying and installing industry-leading brands across the commercial sector and hold multiple contracts with both government and private organisations.
As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our team with a dedicated and proactive Business Development Manager who can help us strengthen client relationships, secure current opportunities, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships
- Research market trends and competitor activities to shape growth strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients
- Prepare and present proposals, pitches, and contracts to prospective clients
- Track performance metrics and provide regular business reports
- Estimating / quoting automatic door packages to fabricators, builders and end users
- Monitor tendering portals and generating leads
- Following up and managing sale leads and quotes requests
- Conduct site visits with Technicians, Consultants or Customers as necessary
- Liaise with subcontractors, tradespeople and suppliers
- Undertake site measurements and assess site conditions as required
- Specifying architectural hardware into commercial projects
- Presenting technical information to architects, builders, fabricators, glaziers and customers
- Commercial customers only, we don’t undertake residential work
About You
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-oriented approach
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications with a mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Prior experience in automatic doors and architectural hardware will be highly regarded; however, applicants with demonstrated sales or estimation experience from a technical industry would be suitable, e.g. electrical, medical, glazing, fabrication, mechanical
- Previously held titles may include, but not be limited to, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Architectural Hardware Specification, Estimator
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
