> Draftsperson / Cabinetry Designer
We are seeking an experienced Draftsperson with proven Cabmaster skills to produce detailed CNC-ready drawings, shop and assembly documentation, and cutting lists for our whole house joinery projects. You will work closely with designers, project managers and the workshop to ensure manufacturable, efficient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce and edit 2D/3D drawings, panel layouts and CNC files using Cabmaster.
* Reinterpret and reproduce architectural drawings for buildability and production accuracy, including accurate cut lists, parts lists and nesting files for production.
* Convert design concepts and site-measure information into detailed manufacturing drawings.
* Coordinate with project managers, estimators and the workshop to resolve design-for-manufacture issues.
* Maintain drawing standards, templates and documentation.
* Assist with material scheduling, updates and version control.
* Purchase required timber and hardware required for each project
* Review and QA drawings before production release.
Requirements:
* Commercial joinery drafting experience preferred.
* Proficient in Cabmaster software + EzyNest.
* Strong understanding of cabinetry construction, hardware, joinery methods and manufacturing processes.
* Experience generating CNC-ready output, nesting and optimising material usage.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
