The Program Support Officer plays a critical role to support the Policy and Project Management Pool team members. The position contributes to organisational efficiency by coordinating processes, improving operations, and fostering collaboration across the team.
The position ensures effective stakeholder engagement by liaising with internal teams and partners, coordination and administrative support to the team efficiently managing the day-to-day functioning to support the human resources management, and general administrative tasks. It incorporates ensuring the co-ordination of works, projects, and programs are well-organised, tracked, and supported with effective logistics, and communication to enable smooth operations and aid effective stakeholder engagement.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in providing program support and office administration and a knowledge of departmental systems and processes.
* A knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
