We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant / Junior Client Manager with demonstrated work experience in public practice tax and business advisory services to clients.
Reporting directly to the senior accounting manager of the firm, this opportunity will allow the successful applicant to progress and further development their accounting career by by providing a range of taxation and business advisory services to clients.

On the job training will be provided as required on the latest skilled systems and procedures.
The successful applicant will have at least 5 years experience in public practice tax accounting and have completed a relevant tertiary qualification in accounting,i.e. Bachelor in Business / Accounting.
Responsibilities
Duties include but not limited to:
- Preparation of tax returns, fringe benefits returns and business activity statements
- Preparation of financials statements and management accounts
- Preparation of tax planning schedules and reports
- Help identify, research and resolve complex accounting issues including provision of tax and business advisory advice.
About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- 5+ years experience within Australian Public Practice
- An interest in CA/CPA or working towards in the future
- Proficient in the use of accounting software (Xero, MYOB) from day to day business use to full account preparation.
- Great time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills and willingness to communicate to clients.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivery of high-quality work
- Honest, client focused, with a 'can do' and steadfast attitude
