This is a job opportunity for a Labourer to work at our Spearwood Batch Plant.
About The Role
The successful candidate will be based at Spearwood Batch Plant, reporting to the plant supervisor. They will assist with the maintenance of the plant equipment and upkeep of the concrete batch plant, maintaining a clean and presentable state.
The candidate may be trained in the running of WA Premix wet batch plants.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance of the plant equipment
* General housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work environment
* Removal of residual concrete from the mixing vessel or drum using appropriate tools and cleaning solutions
* Cleaning hard-to-reach areas using high-pressure hoses or air compressors
* Following all safety protocols while cleaning confined spaces
* Reporting any damage or maintenance requirements to supervisors
Requirements
* Valid Australian Driver's License
* Forklift license highly regarded
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Excellent people skills to co-operatively work and liaise with the team
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Mechanical Aptitude
