Workplace Risk Specialist
At our organisation, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced workers' compensation professional to join our workplace risk practice in Melbourne. This practice focuses on managing workplace injury risks by delivering quality advice and services to clients, managing key programs, and identifying new business opportunities.
The primary focus of this role is to provide innovative solutions to workplace risk and workers' compensation programs, helping clients achieve sustainable performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage clients' workplace risk programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services
* Provide return-to-work support services for a range of clients
* Maintain comprehensive client data and update accordingly
* Produce analytical written reports for clients
* Complete policy placements of national workers' compensation insurance
* Undertake premium forecasting
* Maximise revenue generated from existing client base by analysing client profitability and maximising group functions
* Support us to seek and secure new business opportunities through cross-selling of broader service offerings
* Adhere to all compliance and business processes
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a workers' compensation role or similar within an insurance environment
* Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of workers' compensation claims principles and processes
* Ability to identify key policy influencing factors and provide support to the claims process
* Strong Microsoft Office/Excel skills
* Excellent report writing and correspondence skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to provide clear explanation to clients when required
