Job Description: Housekeeper – Oaks Nelson Bay Lure Suites
We’re looking for multiple casual Housekeepers to join our housekeeping department. Dedicated and detail‑oriented individuals who pride themselves on their work and are committed to providing an exceptional guest experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming floors and cleaning bathrooms.
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards.
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
- Build strong, professional relationships with team members, guests and contractors.
Shift Details
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday.
- Shifts start between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.
- Hourly rates (excluding super):
- Monday – Friday: $32.31 per hour
- Saturday: $38.78 per hour
- Sunday: $45.24 per hour
Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
- Good physical fitness and stamina; ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members and contractors.
- Strong time‑management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
