Essential Requirements: Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent. Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (see the candidate support document (here) for details) OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week 'Paid to Learn' course Have a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience relevant to your industry Hold a Fair-Trading NSW tradesperson certificate (license) in the class of "Automotive Electrician" OR if applying from Interstate only, applicants must be eligible to obtain a Fair-Trading NSW Tradesperson certificate. Highly regarded but not essential:
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical or Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology Ability to travel to other regional campuses as required Paid to Learn : for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course. Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.
