QC Officer
to join our team at WA.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Establish quality standard, guidelines and procedures for the company to ensure consistency and compliance with industry regulations.
Perform regular inspections of products, processes or services to identify issues and verify compliance with quality standards.
Keep accurate and organised records of all quality activities including inspection results, test data and corrective actions.
Run tests on products and services to identify any issues and evaluate the results to recommend improvements or modifications.
Investigate quality non-conformances as they arise, determine root causes and work with other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Educate team members on quality standards, policies and best practices and ensure they understand the importance of maintaining quality.
Regularly review quality documentation to ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
Work closely with production and operations team to resolve quality issues and ensure standards are met throughout the entire processes.
Collect and analyse quality data, prepare reports and present findings to the management while drive towards the quality improvements.
Keep a brief of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in quality management to ensure the company's standards remain relevant and compliant.
Liaise with production team to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to internal and external audits while ensuring compliance at all times.
Report incidents, and near misses promptly while assisting in fostering a safe working environment.
Ensure products meet all industry, safety and environmental standards.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or Trade Certificate in Quality Management, Engineering and Manufacturing or related field.
Relevant Certifications Lead Auditor to ****, Six Sigma or other quality-related programs.
Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within structural steel, fabrication, modular construction or manufacturing environment.
Experience working with cross-functional teams such as production, supply chain, engineering and regulatory stakeholders.
Skills
Knowledge of ISO Standards or other relevant quality framework.
Ability to monitor and inspect products, materials and processes.
Strong skills in preparing and maintaining quality records, reports and SOPs.
Strong attention to details.
Ability to identify issues and implementing solutions.
