About the role
Lardner Automotive is seeking a Qualified Mechanic to join our team in Warragul, VIC. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models in a well-equipped workshop.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in vehicles
* Servicing and maintaining vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
* Conducting regular maintenance checks and inspections
* Providing high-quality customer service
* Maintaining accurate records and job documentation
* Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient workshop operations
What we're looking for
* Qualified mechanic with a recognised automotive trade certification
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a qualified mechanic in the automotive industry
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
* Good communication skills and customer service orientation
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
* Sound knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and repair procedures
