We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee and manage project activities to ensure they are delivered safely and efficiently without compromising on quality.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Operators, Subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure that all project objectives are met.
About the Role
As a Site Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
* Supervise and coordinate onsite activities during site establishment, construction, inspection, testing, commissioning and disestablishment.
* Ensure all construction activities prioritise safety, efficiency, and quality.
* Maintain current records for plant, equipment, and site personnel.
* Implement Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental management plans.
* Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
* Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and specifications.
* Effectively utilise site resources in order to achieve completion of project within time frames
* Hands on approach when it comes to resolving problems.
* Promote Goldsmith values and culture within the project team.
About you
To be considered for this role the successful applicant must have:
* Previous experience as a civil construction Supervisor, ideally with a specific focus on landfill construction projects
* Experience with lining systems for landfill construction is highly preferred.
* A demonstrated ability to manage large scale bulk earthwork projects.
* Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
* Experience operating Topcon GPS rovers and machine control systems.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Valid working rights in Australia
