Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Head Baker to lead our bakery operations. The Head Baker will be responsible for producing high-quality breads and pastries, managing daily baking schedules, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring consistency, food safety, and excellence in all baked products.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, bake, and present a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and baked goods
* Develop and refine recipes to maintain quality and consistency
* Plan daily production schedules and manage ingredient preparation
* Supervise, train, and support bakery staff
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery workspace
* Minimise waste and control production costs
* Collaborate with management on seasonal menus and new product ideas

Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience as a baker, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
* Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and oven operation
* Ability to lead and motivate a team
* Excellent time-management and organisational skills
* Attention to detail and commitment to product quality
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
* Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required
