Occupational Therapist Role
Hanrahan Health offers multidisciplinary therapy services across the lifespan. Our team works in various clinical settings, including clinics, hospitals, and schools.
* We require you to manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner.
* You will assess clients' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
* Using your findings, formulate treatment goals unique to each client.
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that cater to each individual's needs.
* You will offer support and advice on adaptations to the environment, including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
* Recommend Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and promote independence.
About You
* You must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* A valid driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicle is required.
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector is essential.
Qualifications
* You are degree qualified as an Occupational Therapist.
* Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or eligible for the same upon completion of a university degree in occupational therapy at an Australian university is necessary.
