The Company
Daisy's Garden Supplies is a Victorian family-owned business supplying building, garden, and landscaping materials to Melbourne, Geelong, and beyond for nearly 45 years. Our team of over 200 people works across 9 stores and 6 production sites from Pakenham to Torquay. We value integrity, hard work, and customer service, and we back our people with teamwork, clear expectations, and practical support.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR licensed truck driver to join our Laverton store on a casual basis.
What you will do
As a Store Driver, your key responsibilities will be:
* Deliver garden and landscaping supplies to customers, generally in the Melbourne Metro Area
* Drive both medium rigid and heavy rigid (MR & HR) tipper trucks
* Maintain yard and truck presentation & cleanliness
* Operate mobile equipment in the sales yard (if licensed/competent)
Our Laverton store is open Monday to Friday 7am - 4.30pm and Saturday 7am - 3.30pm. This is for a flexible casual role across daylight hours only.
What you will bring
The successful applicant will be someone who:
* Holds a current HR license, with a safe driving record and experience driving a tipper truck
* Can form friendly and positive customer relationships
* Has reasonable knowledge of the Melbourne Metro area
* Competencies and experience operating a front-end loader and/or forklift advantageous
