About this role: We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in the preparation and analysis of financial reports.
* Key responsibilities include:
1. Preparing and delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting for our consulting offices across Australia and New Zealand;
2. Collaborating closely with global peers and acting as a trusted business partner to local leadership;
3. Providing financial planning and analysis support to drive strategic decision-making.
Compliance and taxation responsibilities include:
1. Assisting with year-end reporting and tax preparation;
2. Reviewing and submitting BAS lodgements and FBT returns;
3. Managing internal and external auditors throughout the tax audit process.
About you: To succeed in this role, you will have:
* A strong accounting background, preferably with 4-6 years of experience;
* Chartered accountant or CPA membership;
* Proven experience in statutory financial reporting and financial planning and analysis;
* Excellent communication, planning, written and team leadership skills;
* A proactive and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and lead initiatives;
* Proficient organisation, prioritisation and time management skills;
* Proficient Microsoft applications skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
