Design & Build are working with a well-regarded residential builder who specialise in delivering architecturally designed homes across Melbourne. With a strong pipeline of work and a great reputation in the industry, they're now looking to bring on a Project Coordinator/Contract Administrator to support the team.
Established for over five years, the business delivers high-quality renovations, extensions and new builds, and most of their work comes from repeat clients and referrals. As their workload continues to grow, they are looking to expand their team, making this is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into (or continue developing within) a Contract Administrator or Project Coordinator role.
This position would suit either someone from a trade or site-based background (within the high-end sector) who's ready to move into a more office-based, commercially focused role, or someone with existing experience in the position who is looking to progress.
You'll be working alongside an experienced project team and getting exposure to procurement, contracts, budgets and scheduling across a range of residential projects valued up to $3.5m. It's a close-knit, supportive business that truly looks after its people, with strong mentoring and long-term career progression on offer.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate and coordinate with clients, architects, councils and tradesPrepare, assess, and finalise subcontractor packages in accordance with project budgets and head contract requirementsMaintain oversight of project documentation, financial accounts, and progress reportingAssist in implementing company policies and ensuring ongoing site complianceMonitor and manage construction schedules, forecasting upcoming trade and material needs
About You
Qualified carpenter, site-based professional, or experienced Project Coordinator/Contract AdministratorExperience working across architecturally designed residential renovations, extensions or new builds valued $1.5m+Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable communicating with clients, architects and tradesExperience with Procore (or similar software) is advantageous but not essential
