We are seeking a hands-on, reliable, and eager-to-learn Machinery Assistant to join our team in Sydney. This is an entry-level position focused on assisting with basic mechanical work — ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the machinery and equipment field, even without prior experience.You’ll gain practical, real-world skills working with forklifts, excavators, and other construction machinery. Your Responsibilities
Basic Maintenance of Construction Machinery Equipment
Perform easy inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs on machinery such as forklifts, excavators, and other light construction equipment. Learn the foundations of preventive maintenance and equipment diagnostics to ensure machines operate safely and efficiently.
Mechanical Repairs and Workshop Support
Assist with basic mechanical repairs under supervision. Support daily tasks in the workshop, including tool preparation, equipment checks, and cleaning of parts and components.Field Service Assistance
Accompany experienced technicians for on-site service when required. Gain exposure to troubleshooting procedures and learn how to handle real-world machinery issues in the field.Hydraulic and Mechanical Systems Learning
Learn the basics of hydraulic systems and how they apply to heavy machinery. Understand how different components interact and how to identify potential faults early.
Tools & Spare Parts Handling
Help manage and prepare the necessary tools and spare parts for each job. Learn how to select, store, and maintain equipment to support efficient repair operations.Hands-On Learning with Industry Experts
Work side-by-side with senior technicians and industry veterans. Receive step-by-step, practical training to build your confidence and technical skills.Who We’re Looking For
- Mandarin-speaking preferred
- No extensive experience needed – training provided
- Some basic mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience is a plus (e.g., forklifts, car repair, general tools)
- Reliable, motivated, and physically fit
