The ideal candidate will interpret risk assessments and threat analyses to select appropriate security technologies for sensitive environments.Key job responsibilitiesThis role provides expert advice on physical security architecture. Responsibilities include:Leading physical security architecture on sensitive projects.Creating detailed security system designs aligned with government policies.Supporting security leadership with expertise in physical security.Managing security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.Handling security audit and assessment deliverables.Preparing reports and presentations for governance bodies.Developing and reviewing security policies and procedures.Identifying vulnerabilities and advising on remediation.Collaborating with stakeholders on compliance obligations, e.g., PSPF and ISM.Hold or be able to obtain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance.A day in the lifeEngineers must exercise sound judgment, balance security and business goals, demonstrate resilience, and communicate effectively.
