Remote Mental Health Professional
This is a unique opportunity to contribute your specialist psychiatric knowledge and skills to facilitate the delivery of quality mental health care to patients in remote areas. As a member of our team, you will provide professional leadership within the Mental Health Service at Mount Isa Hospital and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist psychiatric knowledge and skills to facilitate the delivery of quality mental health care to patients.
* Lead and manage teams of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
* Develop and implement treatment plans that address the complex needs of patients with mental health conditions.
Requirements
* A medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Demonstrated experience in mental health and addiction psychiatry.
* Ability to provide evidence of independent practice in mental health.
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
* Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
