Head of Government Relations and Public Affairs
About the Job:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our government relations and public affairs efforts.
* This role requires strategic thinking, effective communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
* The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing successful government relations and public affairs strategies.
* A deep understanding of the political and legislative process is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will be able to analyze complex information, think critically, and make informed decisions.
Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or a related field.
* Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline (i.e., Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Political Science, Communications, or a related field).
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, including ability to manage a diverse group of high-profile stakeholders involved in complex negotiations.
