We are a leading Mobility Equipment and Assistive Technology business based in Cairns, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals through our wide range of products and services. Our mission is to provide cutting-edge solutions that improve the quality of life for community members with mobility and assistive needs. We are currently looking for a motivated and dynamic Delivery Driver & Storeperson to join our team Full Time 38 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliveries: Safely deliver mobility equipment and assistive technology items to clients in Cairns and surrounding areas. This includes loading and unloading items and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and handle large, heavy, and bulky items as part of the delivery and warehouse duties.
- Picking stock: Pick stock for delivery and collection by customers.
- Stock Management: Assemble and replenish stock in the showroom.
- Receiving stock: Receive stock from the back dock and ensure all boxes match the con note. Mark off stock against the supplier invoices. Unpack and label stock and put it away in the showroom.
- Rubbish removal: Load empty pallets and other rubbish into a van or trailer and take it to the dump.
- Rental Equipment: Clean rental equipment and test it so that it is ready for the next client.
- Warehouse duties: Ensure the warehouse is clean, tidy and organised.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business goals and provide support wherever needed.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain, wash and vacuum the delivery vehicles.
- Customer Service: Some customer service and dealing with phone enquiries when necessary.

Mandatory Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check: Must have or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check, as this role involves working within the disability sector.
- Driver's License Type: Valid Car (C class) driver's licence is required for this position.
- Current Police Check: Must have a police check under 3 years old or willing to get one.
