The Opportunity
We are seeking a competent and experienced Machinist to join our team in Naval Base, WA.
This role involves high-level manual machining at our main workshop, with work scopes varying across a range of industries and applications. There will also be opportunities for local onsite machining work where required.
Attractive pay rates will be negotiated based on experience.

Roles & Responsibilities
* Operate manual machine tools including lathes and mills
* Manufacture and modify components to precise specifications
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders
* Set up and adjust machines for optimal accuracy and efficiency
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
* Maintain accurate job records
* Adhere to strict quality control and safety standards
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a manual machinist
* Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of manual machining processes and techniques
* Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Strong problem-solving ability and teamwork skills
Essential Requirements
* Relevant Trade Certificate
* Forklift Licence
* White Card
* Current C Class WA Driver's Licence & own transport
* Ability to pass site medical and drug & alcohol testing
* Permanent Australian residency with full working rights
