What You'll Be Doing
* One-on-one support for clients on their mental health recovery journey
* Coordinating services and navigating mental health systems
* Setting person-centred, recovery-focused goals
* Travelling to remote communities to deliver essential outreach services
* Helping individuals build personal capacity and stability
* Thriving in a diverse, fast-paced environment
What You'll Need To Succeed
We're looking for someone who brings both expertise and heart to the role. To thrive as a Mental Health Recovery Coach, you'll need:
* A Certificate IV in Community Services, Mental Health, or a similar relevant qualification
* Experience working with vulnerable people, with a genuine commitment to supporting their wellbeing
* A strong understanding of the Recovery Model of Care, and how to apply it in real-world settings
* Knowledge of local mental health and community service providers, and how to connect clients with the right support
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport
* A problem-solving mindset and a proactive, can-do attitude
* The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across diverse teams and communities
* Sound computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems and software
* A current Australian driver's licence and the flexibility to travel as needed for outreach and client support
