We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Mobile Mechanic and Yardman to support our yard operations, mechanical workshop, and transport requirements. This is a varied role suited to someone who is always on the go with strong mechanical aptitude, yard experience, and the ability to operate equipment and trucks safely.
This role is responsible for ensuring the yard remains safe, organised, and efficient while completing moderate mechanical servicing, repairs, and transport operations. Duties include handling and storing materials and equipment, assisting tradespeople and delivery drivers, operating heavy vehicles and machinery, and completing routine checks and documentation. The position plays a critical role in keeping daily operations running smoothly, requiring a hands‑on, safety‑focused individual who can work independently or as part of a team while maintaining WHS compliance and high workplace standards.

About You:
You will ideally have:
* Previous experience in a yard, mechanical, or machinery environment
* Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair experience
* A proactive, safety-focused attitude
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a timely manner
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* A strong work ethic and pride in maintaining high standards
Essential:
* Current Heavy Combination (HC) licence (HR Licence acceptable)
* Forklift licence (LF)
* More than 2 years mechanical experience (trade qualified preferred)
* More than 2 years’ experience operating machinery
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing
* White Card (Construction Induction)
