Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Interdisciplinary Allied Health
Introduction: We invite applications for a Lecturer/Sen Senior Lecturer in Interdisciplinary Allied Health to contribute to the education of students across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with a focus on interdisciplinary allied health subjects and research, in a context that develops critical thinking and academic literacy.
Responsibilities
- Shape the future of allied health education and contribute to rural health outcomes.
- Deliver cutting-edge teaching across diverse subjects, including research and critical thinking.
- Work within a supportive, interdisciplinary team that values inclusivity and respect.
- Active engagement in teaching, curriculum development and student engagement related to interdisciplinary subjects in the School of Allied Health, Exercise and Sports Sciences.
- Teach a broad range of interdisciplinary allied health subjects, including research, in a knowledgeable, engaging, and accessible manner that develops critical thinking.
- Engage students across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contribute to curriculum development, and collaborate on research with impact in regional, rural, and remote health.
- Use blended models of subject delivery, liaise with stakeholders of courses, and participate in administration and ongoing curriculum development aligned to the school’s strategic direction.
About you
- A Doctoral qualification or equivalent experience, accreditation and standing relevant to teaching interdisciplinary allied health subjects.
- Knowledge and understanding of contemporary health-related practice, particularly in remote, rural and regional contexts.
- A capacity and willingness to support and teach a broad range of interdisciplinary allied health subjects, including research.
- Record of research/publication relevant to the position, demonstrating capacity to contribute autonomously.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to subject design and deliver high-quality student-focused learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
