We are actively seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor for Foundation Skills within the Brisbane region.
Reporting directly to Training Management, the successful candidate will oversee a student caseload and be responsible for delivering exceptional outcomes for both clients and students.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40122)
* Completion of either:
TAESS00009 Address Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice Skill Set / TAESS00026 Foundation Skills Integration Skill Set or
a higher-level education qualification, such as:
TAE80113 Graduate Diploma of Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practice (or its equivalent TAE70111), or
a Bachelor of Education, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Education, or higher. This may include qualifications relating to TESOL, adult education or vocational education.
* A positive and proactive training approach
* Self-motivation, resilience, energy, and self-assuredness
* Confidence in engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders
* Knowledge or experience within the training industry
* Current Blue Card (mandatory prior to appointment)
* Driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
The successful candidate must demonstrate:
* Proficiency in the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) and its performance features at the assessed level
* Expertise, knowledge, and skills in the vocational contextualization and assessment of core skills
Expectations for the role include but are not limited to:
* Directly manage a student case load.
* Achievement of KPIs aligned with student progression.
* Upholding the highest standards of quality and ethics in all activities.
