Job Description
The Portfolio Controls Specialist – Project Budgeting role involves overseeing the development and implementation of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes within the Digital Solutions Group portfolio.
You will lead the creation and execution of systems, processes, and procedures for project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure timely and accurate financial information is available for planning and managing the portfolio's finances.
* Coordinate the development of monthly forecasts with program and project managers.
* Consolidate forecasts and provide regular budget versus forecast reports (actuals and estimates).
* Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts.
* Review procurement items (POs, accruals) to ensure forecasts represent an accurate position.
* Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate accounting transactions (resource cost charges, recoveries).

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
* Significant experience in providing project financial support services across various high-profile projects.

Benefits
This Temporary Full Time role offers a base salary of $124,547 to $137,476 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
