About the Role
The IT Technician will support technical and administrative tasks in the delivery of effective and efficient IT services to Youth Focus staff and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
* Respond to support requests through face‑to‑face interactions, emails and our ticketing system, ensuring clear documentation.
* Support the IT Coordinator with the maintenance of Youth Focus' ICT infrastructure (hardware, software, servers, cloud platforms, storage, network, databases, cyber security).
* Troubleshoot and resolve level 1 issues across Microsoft Windows, Office 365, VoIP (Ring Central), and networking (Ubiquiti).
* Identify potential issues, access and respond to ICT risk/threats.
* Support effective onboarding and offboarding of users and IT assets in collaboration with relevant staff and external IT support providers.
* Support the allocation, deployment, installation, configuration, and maintenance of ICT assets (desktops, laptops, mobiles).
* Support the IT Coordinator with the continuous improvement of all Youth Focus' ICT systems and equipment.
About You
To be considered for this position, applicants will have:
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
* Experience providing generalist ICT support and advice for end users.
* Competency in core IT hardware and OS technology, including installation, configuration and maintenance.
* High-level of attention to detail, organisation, and prioritisation of tasks.
* Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and Office Suite, including SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
* Strong stakeholder management with well‑developed interpersonal skills and a customer‑centric approach.
* Willingness to work outside of standard hours from time to time.
* Capacity to travel between office locations (intrastate) as required.
* 'C' Class driver's licence
