St Joseph's is a 130 bed Aged Care Facility and is based on the grounds of St Vincent's Hospital, Lismore. Owned and operated by the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Church, Diocese of Lismore since 1936, the facility specialises in providing quality personalised care to the frail aged, palliative care and residents living with dementia.
St Joseph's is seeking to fill the following casual position:
Wardsperson
Reporting directly to the Manager Aged Care, the Wardsperson assists in the provision of high quality and at times labour intensive support services to our resident's.
To be successful, applicants will need to possess the following:
Proven time management and organisational skills within a multi-disciplinary team environment;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate effectively with a diverse range of patients, residents and caregivers;
Demonstrated knowledge of the principles governing WH&S, Infection Control, Quality Improvement, Waste Management;
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
