About the role
The Novated Leasing Sales Consultant is responsible for converting high‐intent employee enquiries into approved and funded novated leases. You will own the customer journey end‐to‐end from first contact and discovery through to credit approval and handover to Activations. This role plays a critical part in delivering strong commercial outcomes while ensuring a high‐quality, compliant customer experience aligned to Custom Fleet's sales and customer objectives. Operating in a high‐volume inbound environment, you will combine customer‐centric selling, process discipline and strong communication to achieve outstanding results.
Essential duties
* Manage inbound novated leasing enquiries generated via web forms, employer programs and referrals.
* Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand customer needs, vehicle preferences, budget, kilometres and salary packaging requirements.
* Prepare, present and clearly explain compliant novated lease quotes in a customer‐friendly manner.
* Guide customers confidently through credit approval, documentation and next steps.
* Maintain accurate and up‐to‐date CRM records, including activities, notes, pipeline stages and forecasting inputs.
* Communicate proactively with customers to progress enquiries and provide regular updates throughout the sales process.
* Own the customer journey end‐to‐end, ensuring timely follow‐up and a seamless experience.
* Consistently achieve individual sales, conversion and service KPIs in a high‐volume inbound environment.
* Collaborate closely with Credit, Activations, Operations and dealer partners to progress approvals through to delivery.

* Structured and process‐oriented approach to managing enquiries, documentation and next steps.
Other
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to produce clear, well‐structured written communication and documentation.
Education & experience
* Experience in a sales, customer service or customer advisory role.
* Experience engaging customers via phone and email in a professional, fast‐paced environment.
* Ability to follow structured processes and manage multiple customer enquiries concurrently.
* Experience within fleet, novated leasing, automotive or financial services.
* Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, commerce or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
