Teaching Opportunities
Chaffey Secondary College in Mildura, Victoria is seeking a qualified English teacher to join their educational team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching English to students in Years 7-10 and contributing to the development of school policies and programs.
The role requires a strong understanding of literacy and numeracy skills, as well as experience in planning and implementing high-impact teaching strategies.
Responsibilities include:
* Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
* Contributing to the curriculum area development, implementation and evaluation within the school;
* Undertaking other classroom teaching related duties as determined by the school principal;
* Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions;
Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents and colleagues.
Key Qualifications
* Qualification in teaching or equivalent qualification;
* Experience in teaching English to students in Years 7-10;
