Senior Underwriter
We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned underwriter to enhance our Property Team within our Technical and Business Performance area.
About the Role
* Build strong relationships with specific trading partners.
* Develop your portfolio management expertise to drive insightful change across our scheme business.
* Provide customer-centric insights, innovative product solutions, and meticulous risk management strategies.
* Foster collective approaches that meet the needs of our trading partners and policyholders.
* Participate in forums across the Property underwriting community to stay up-to-date with trends and best practices.
* Contribute to ad-hoc projects to add value across the organisation.
* You will be an insurance professional with proven property underwriting experience at a senior level.
* You will also have:
o Demonstrated maturity to manage complex risks and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
o The ability to plan and handle peak periods smoothly and efficiently.
o A keen interest in analytics and policy wording critiquing.
o The ability to collaborate and work within a national team located across multiple locations.
o A desire to mentor and guide less experienced underwriters to help them develop their skills and expertise.
o An interest in learning new skills, which may take you down a product management path in the future.
