About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and talented chefs who strives in exceeding guests expectations and wants to join a team that priorities diversity, inclusion in a professional and fun working environment
As a Commis Chef in the Pastry Department, you will be responsible to prepare consistent, high quality pastry items as per the departments operating concept and Hyatt standards.
Some of the responsibilities include
* Assisting in preparing pastry products.
* Working in the Pastry Kitchen which services both our Promenade Café, Tea Lounge
* To maintain the assigned station / section in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
Qualifications
A successful candidate will have:
* Minimum 1 years work experience
* Experience in luxury international brands, highly regarded
* Qualification in Commercial Cookery/Patisserie
* Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
* A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast paced customer service environment
