You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the product's evolution, operating confidently at both a strategic and hands‐on level. This means setting vision, influencing product direction, and obsessing over the details—from interaction design and workflows to overall UI quality. We are open to Sydney and Melbourne locations.**Responsibilities:*** Partner with product managers, engineers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders across the design process and product development lifecycle* Design and support delivery of thoughtful and scalable solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes* Work hands‐on to translate emerging AI capabilities into practical product experiences, shaping flows, interactions, and UI that make complex behaviour understandable and usable.* Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams during discovery and delivery to explore solutions, test assumptions, and iterate toward outcomes that genuinely help customers.* Design interactions that give users appropriate visibility and control over AI‐driven behaviour, including how outputs are presented, explained, and acted upon.* Advocate for users by identifying opportunities to simplify complexity and influence product decisions with a user-centered mindset* Conduct agile research using qualitative and quantitative methods to gain deep understanding of problem spaces and user needs and support evidence-based design decisions* Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes and designs to explore concepts and validate assumptions* Execute usability testing across concept and high-fidelity prototypes to refine designs and validate assumptions* Produce well-documented design artifacts that enable smooth development handovers* Contribute to HUB24's Design System by creating, updating, and managing reusable UI components* Build and maintain our pattern library aligned with group standards for consistency, usability, and accessibility* Ensure design delivery meets enterprise-level quality standards* Seek out and embrace feedback from peers and stakeholders and aim to provide thoughtful feedback to team members and drive continuous process improvements**Requirements:*** 6+ years experience in product design, UX, or interaction design (digital, SaaS, or platform products)* Strong experience designing complex workflows and systems-driven products* Proven ability to lead design work independently and deliver impact in ambiguous problem spaces* Excellent skills across interaction design, UX, and visual design* Strong product thinking — able to balance user needs, business outcomes, and technical constraints* Confidence working from problem definition through to polished execution* Experience working in cross-functional, agile product teams* Ability to influence product and delivery decisions through design leadership* Clear, confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders* Experience in fintech, wealth, trading, or other regulated domains (highly regarded)* Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) (highly regarded)**The Recruitment Process*** Acknowledgement email once your application has been submitted.* Our Talent team will start reviewing your application.
