Grade: Clerk Grade 3/4
Salary Range: $84,659 to $92,701 plus super
Duration: Temporary up to 6 months
Location: Gosford NSW- Hybrid working arrangements

About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Support Officer to join our SafeWork Licensing Team which part of the Authorisations and Verifications Directorate and delivers regulatory schemes to enable individuals, businesses and organisations to operate in NSW while assuring the community that the requirements of the law are being met.
We are looking for an energetic person to support the Team. This role also provides a range of support and administrative services to facilitate the delivery of business operations and support the Management Team to achieve organisational objectives.
Key responsibilities
* The ability to manage and adapt to multiple competing priorities while ensuring customer and/or business needs are met,
* The capability to provide a range of administrative and support services, including records management, routine correspondence, meeting coordination and minutes, to support the effective operation of the business,
* The skills to complete routine financial transactions (processing of invoices) and purchasing services, ensuring compliance with agency standards and procedures,
* Computer skills, with the ability to utilise a number of computer systems,
* The aptitude to act as the point of contact with internal customers, respond to enquiries and provide information in a timely manner, demonstrating a commitment to customer service, and attention to detail.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a team environment as well as across different teams, and has a broad range of skills, including:

* The ability to be self-motivated, exercise initiative and identify opportunities to introduce new ways of working to continuously improve the way we work,
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with high levels of flexibility and the ability to prioritise work in the face of competing demands
* Sound ICT skills in a range of applications including Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, TEAMS and SharePoint.
