About The Position
The Project Manager - Property & Building Services will be responsible for recurrent project management and delivery of building works. This includes coordination of project inception, investigation, design and construction, or individual elements of these depending on workload and availability of other internal and external resources. These projects will predominately be the delivery of Building construction and Water infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver major projects within agreed budgets and timeframes and ensure the development of effective project plans and monitor regularly
* Assess feasibility of significant infrastructure development or asset management projects and to develop innovative solutions for successful project delivery
* Coordinate the investigation, design and construction of new and replacement infrastructure assets through ensuring asset information, works as executed plans, and operating procedures are appropriately recorded and disseminated to the organisation
* Prepare briefs and engage and manage suitably qualified and experienced internal and external consultants and contractors
* Organise tender documentation, quotations, and contract documentation to meet project and service objectives, within agreed quality, cost and time requirements
* Supervise, monitor, and manage all relevant contractors, including compliance with specifications and documentation
About You
* Tertiary Qualifications (Degree) in Engineering or Project Management equivalent and/or equivalent work experience
* Skills and experience in the use of MS Project or equivalent
* Class C Drivers Licence
* Working knowledge of the relevant and applicable NSW legislation; e.g. tendering regulations in the NSW
* Local Government Act; EP&A Act; Heritage Conservation; and Building Code of Australia (desirable)
* Advanced working knowledge of Aus-Spec and RMS design and construction specifications; in particular building design and construction guidelines and specifications (desirable)
What We Offer
* Temporary, full time, 35 hours per week, for a period up until the 1 April 2028
* Salary from $110,138 to $118,849 per year (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 12% superannuation
