**The Opportunity**
We are looking for a Co-Leader (Assistant Coordinator) to join our New Farm team.
As the Co-Leader of our New Farm Service you will be assisting the Leader of the service while building trusting partnerships with all families, children and community.
**To be successful, you will need**:
- Proven leadership experience in OSHC or Childcare industry to support a team of passionate educators with an emphasis on collaboration, communication, empowerment and engagement
- Programming /educational leadership experience and an understanding of the National Quality Framework
- The highest level of initiative: we would love someone who sees an opportunity and takes it!
- Strong inter-personal skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills and well-developed emotional intelligence.
**The successful applicant should also possess**:
- At least 2-3 years' experience working with children, preferably in an OSHC environment;
- Hold or be working towards a Diploma or higher Tertiary qualifications in relevant field (or equivalent).
- A current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR Certificate or be willing to obtain;
- A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
**The is a full time position which will include split shifts during term time. The operating hours of the Service are**:
- 6.30am to 9.00am for before school care
- 2.00pm to 6.00pm for after school care
- 6.00am to 6.00pm during vacation care
