About the Role
As a casual Youth Worker in our Before and After School Care program in Coomera, you'll work with children aged 5-12, providing support and guidance in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. Your role will focus on helping children with a variety of needs, including those with disabilities, as they transition between school and home life. You'll help create a positive and engaging atmosphere for all the kids in your care.
Shift Hours
* Before School Care: 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM
* After School Care: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Optional Extra Hours: If you're interested in working during school holidays, you may have the opportunity to support our program during that time as well.
What You'll Do
* Assist children with their needs, including emotional support, mobility, and communication assistance.
* Lead or assist with recreational activities and games to keep children engaged.
* Ensure a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
* Collaborate with the team to provide the best care possible for all children.

Essential Requirements
* QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
* First Aid & CPR Certificate
* NDIS Orientation Module Certificate: 'Quality, Safety & You'
