The Company On behalf of an established services organisation we are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team of 5! This role is based in Chatswood, right by the train & metro lines, and is offering 2 days WFH per week! The Role For this position we are on the lookout for an engaging candidate with strong oral and written communication. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your day to day responsibilities will include: Processing a high-volume fortnightly payroll Ensure accurate payment of wages, superannuation and government taxes Manage any payroll related queries coming from staff to head office Processing, reconciling and clearing month end figures Calculate annual leave and sick leave provision Assist with payroll reporting, including year-end Your Profile Our client is looking for someone who has worked as part of a team within a medium to large corporate business managing a payroll in access of 500 employees. The successful candidate will have: Minimum 2 year's experience processing payroll from end to end Strong understanding of different EBAs and Awards High attention to detail Excellent communication skills The ability to work autonomously as required but also have a cohesive attitude towards the team Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to develop their career in a permanent, full-time position.
