As a SeniorLending Analyst, you will be part of a national team who work collaboratively with our customer facing Agribusiness Relationship Managers and Associates. Your core focus will be the accurate completion of credit assessments including the preparation of complex credit memorandums and related analysis and covering all credit events.
In this role you will have the opportunity to expand your internal networks across various teams including credit and sales, attending development sessions including deal workshops and MCDC meetings. Most importantly, you will be able to further develop and refine your own credit writing and analytical skills.
In this role you will get to do:
* Managing the end-to-end loan application process including the preparation, evaluation and settlement of loan files for agribusiness clients nationwide.
* Perform financial & credit analysis of submissions (TAE over $5M).
* Mentoring and coaching of the wider team to grow their financial analysis and credit writing skills.
* Continue to deepen your complex credit skillset and enhance your risk assessment and identification abilities.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, policies and regulations – broadening your knowledge of agricultural markets, commodity and property values and market trends.
What you’ll bring to the role
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Experience in financial analysis and interpretation of financial statements is required.
* An understanding of the Australian agricultural sector, seasonal conditions and client structures would be highly desirable.
* Sound reasoning and problem-solving skills – demonstrated as the ability to identify a challenge and find a solution that is win-win for the business and customer.
* A passion for coaching others and a desire to make a difference in the professional development of your peers.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance or similar would be nice to have however not essential.
