Bar Team Lead Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Bar Team Leader to join our team and take on a leadership role. The successful candidate will have previous experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in food and beverage service.
About the Role:
The Bar Team Leader is responsible for leading and supervising a team of bar staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations. Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising and supporting the bar team to deliver exceptional customer service
* Delivering training and regular briefings to enhance product knowledge and upselling techniques
* Collaborating with colleagues to contribute ideas for new cocktails and themed menus
* Managing bar inventory and conducting stock takes
* Ensuring all guests receive exceptional service and their needs are met promptly
* Addressing and resolving guest complaints and concerns professionally
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment
* A valid RSA certificate
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
* The ability to create a positive first impression and maintain 5-star grooming standards
* The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
