Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Kogarah, NSW for a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Anaesthetics. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the field of anaesthetics. The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating anaesthetic nursing care, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with the relevant standards and guidelines. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will also provide education, support, and mentorship to junior nursing staff, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications
* Skills in Anaesthetics Nursing, Clinical assessment, and Patient care
* Experience in developing and implementing nursing care plans
* Ability to mentor and support junior nursing staff
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Knowledge of National Safety and Quality Health Services (NSQHS) standards
* Advanced knowledge of surgical technologies and practices
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
* Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
* Experience in a clinical specialist role within anaesthetics is preferred
