About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to support our strategic goals by building and developing a high-performing workforce.
* Delivering operational HR support and advice to legal teams in Brisbane;
* Collaborating with colleagues to drive National Early Careers programs;
* Partnering with Business Development and Marketing teams to develop targeted strategies for promoting early career opportunities;
* Managing learning and development programs in alignment with College of Law PLT timelines;
* Coordinating graduate rotations, check-ins, permanent placements, and performance feedback;
* Supporting annual recruitment processes for clerks and graduates, ensuring strategy targets are met;
* Acting as a key HR contact for Brisbane graduates and clerks;
* Proactively supporting Chief People Officers and Heads of HR with ad-hoc projects.
Key Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of human resources experience, ideally gained within the legal or professional services environment;
* Proven track record of managing diverse stakeholders and building strong relationships across all levels of an organisation;
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling confidence to engage with partners, leaders, and staff alike;
* Sound judgment and confidence to make well-informed decisions and recommendations;
* Genuine commitment to delivering exceptional service to internal clients, with a flexible approach that may occasionally include participation in HR activities outside of regular business hours.
