 
        
        Crane Operator Position
The role of crane operator is crucial in the transportation and management of precast props to and from construction sites.
Key responsibilities include transporting props, operating cranes safely and efficiently, and assisting with prop maintenance. Prop management requires ensuring props are delivered and managed to the highest standards while supporting safe and effective site operations.
Prop transport involves driving a crane truck to and from building sites and delivering and collecting props from construction sites. Routine prop maintenance and accurate stock counts are also essential aspects of this position.
Additional requirements include inspecting and maintaining crane equipment to ensure compliance and safety, as well as ensuring all loads comply with safety requirements and legal limits. Operating a forklift or 3t truck crane for loading/unloading may also be required.
Minimum qualifications include an HR Truck Licence, Dogman HRWL, and Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) licence. A White Card is mandatory, and first aid certification is preferred but not required. High Risk Forklift Licence and WHS qualifications are advantageous.
Applicants should have minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role and possess strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge. Excellent focus, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and adaptability are essential traits for success in this position. Good communication skills and a collaborative approach are also valued.
