We are now seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead growth across the mining and resources sector, with a strong focus on Western Australia and national mining operations.
This is a high‐impact commercial role suited to a proactive business development professional who is confident building relationships, opening doors, securing new opportunities and developing long‐term strategic partnerships across complex industrial environments.
The Opportunity
This role will play a key part in executing Tyrecycle's growth strategy across the mining sector. You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing and securing new commercial opportunities with major mining organisations, contractors, regional operators and industry partners.
You will spend significant time in‐market, meeting with customers, visiting sites, building relationships and converting opportunities into long‐term commercial outcomes. This is a hands‐on, customer‐facing role that requires strong initiative, commercial discipline and a genuine drive to grow market share.
Regular travel will be required across Western Australian mining regions, with occasional travel as needed depending on customer activity, project requirements and business priorities. Some interstate travel, including to the East Coast, may also be required as the national mining portfolio continues to develop.
Working closely with internal mining leadership, operations and senior stakeholders, you will support deal progression, tender opportunities, customer transition and long‐term account success.
As the mining portfolio grows, this role is expected to develop over time, with potential progression within approximately 18 months to include leadership responsibility for 1 to 2 direct reports, such as Business Development Managers or Account Managers supporting the mining portfolio.
