The Role
* Report to the Clinical Operations Manager
* Lead a multidisciplinary health team in delivering high-quality, culturally safe healthcare.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, strengthen integrated care delivery, and build the capacity of Aboriginal Health Practitioners (AHPs) and Indigenous staff
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective primary healthcare services.
* Oversee clinical operations, planning, portfolio management, pharmacy and consumables.
* Manage health Center assets and resources to ensure smooth operations.
* Mentor, support, and train staff to deliver culturally safe healthcare.
* Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve health outcomes.
* Participate in the emergency on-call roster and support after-hours responses.
* Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for both staff and patients.
Requirements for the role
* Registration with AHPRA as a General Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner.
* Broad experience in comprehensive primary healthcare with advanced clinical skills to work effectively in remote settings.
* Commitment to the values of Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and respect for Aboriginal culture.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to supervise, mentor, and inspire diverse teams.
* Understanding of Aboriginal health issues, health inequality drivers, and NT health legislation (desirable)
* Resilience, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to achieving positive outcomes
