Report to the Clinical Operations Manager
Lead a multidisciplinary health team in delivering high-quality, culturally safe healthcare.
Oversee day-to-day operations, strengthen integrated care delivery, and build the capacity of Aboriginal Health Practitioners (AHPs) and Indigenous staff
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective primary healthcare services.
Oversee clinical operations, planning, portfolio management, pharmacy and consumables.
Manage health Center assets and resources to ensure smooth operations.
Mentor, support, and train staff to deliver culturally safe healthcare.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve health outcomes.
Participate in the emergency on-call roster and support after-hours responses.
Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for both staff and patients.
Requirements for the role
Registration with AHPRA as a
General Nurse
or
Aboriginal Health Practitioner
.
Broad experience in
comprehensive primary healthcare
with advanced clinical skills to work effectively in remote settings.
Commitment to the values of Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and respect for Aboriginal culture.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to supervise, mentor, and inspire diverse teams.
Understanding of Aboriginal health issues, health inequality drivers, and NT health legislation (desirable)
Resilience, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to achieving positive outcomes
