About the Graduate Engineer Role
The graduate development program offers a smooth transition into a consulting career. You will collaborate with peers, managers and mentors to tackle challenges in the transport sector, focusing on rail projects that deliver innovative solutions to keep trains moving and infrastructure resilient.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the team to deliver major rail projects.
* Design and optimize track structures and alignments for safe, efficient and high-performance rail networks.
* Understand client and project technical requirements and contribute to technical reports, designs and specifications, proposals and presentations.
* Tackle complex challenges in special trackwork and transit space design, ensuring curves, turnouts and crossovers meet exacting standards.
Program Structure
The program provides exposure to design teams, bids and tenders, and occasional site work. In year one, the focus is on fundamentals of consulting to help you find your rhythm in the industry. In year two, you will have flexibility to deepen your technical development or learn from mentors.
