Full-Time Cook / Chef – Canberra Labor Club (Belconnen)

We are now looking for a full-time Cook / Chef to join our passionate Belconnen kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills across multiple sections and be part of a team that values quality, creativity, and teamwork.
What you'll do
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard.
* Work confidently across fryers, grill, and pans in a fast-paced kitchen.
* Ensure consistent presentation, portioning, and taste.
* Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service.
What we're looking for
* Commercial Cookery Certificate (or equivalent).
* Demonstrated experience in a high-end restaurant or high-volume environment.
* Strong à la carte food production skills.
* A hands-on professional with excellent attention to detail.
* Food Safety qualification and strong knowledge of safe practices.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
* Full Australian working rights (mandatory – no visa sponsorship available).
