Part time – 3 days per week

Victor Harbor Golf Club is one of South Australia’s leading regional golf clubs, offering a high-quality golf, hospitality and member experience in a unique coastal setting. We are seeking a capable, organised and detail-focused Finance & Administration Officer to join our team in a part-time role, working 3 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance and administration professional who enjoys working in a dynamic club environment and wants to contribute to a well-regarded community organisation with strong ambitions for the future.

About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance & Administration Officer will play a key role in supporting the club’s financial administration, payroll processing, compliance obligations, membership administration and day-to-day office operations.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is equally comfortable managing financial processes, maintaining accuracy in administration, and providing professional support across a busy club environment.

Key responsibilities
* Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and in a timely manner

* Assist with bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations and routine financial reporting

* Support payroll processing and payroll administration

* Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

* Assist with budgeting, reporting, audit preparation and end-of-month processes

* Support compliance and administrative record keeping across the business

* Provide membership administration support, including data management and member account administration

* Assist with general office administration and front-of-house administrative support as required

* Work collaboratively with the General Manager and other operational leaders to ensure efficient administrative systems and processes

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be a reliable and well-organised professional with strong financial administration capability, excellent attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented approach.

You will ideally bring:

* A degree in Accounting

* Previous experience in a finance, accounts or administration role

* Sound understanding of bookkeeping, payroll and general financial processes

* Strong administrative skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively

* A professional, discreet and trustworthy approach to confidential information

* Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and finance/accounting systems

* A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate, or willingness to obtain one

Desirable
* Experience working in a club, hospitality, not-for-profit or member-based environment

* Experience with systems such as Xero, payroll/timekeeping platforms and membership databases

* An understanding of compliance and reporting obligations in a small to medium organisation
